I make small things.
Unapologetically anti-genocide.

Right, realised why this was happening…
Had the virtual keyboard type set to ISO in Karabiner Elements while the external keyboard I have attached is ANSI.
You don’t need the above mapping if you set it correctly :)
@ln@social.bahamut.dev The US regularly intervenes to ensure Israel has everything it needs to continue its genocide. The US is funding the genocide in Gaza and Israel’s war crimes in the region. And I’m thinking the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against a civilian population can stomach a lot of carnage so I wouldn’t bet on their hitting the breaks anytime soon.
Of course, it would be nicer if the Mastodon interface actually hid filtered notifications instead of doing whatever the fuck this is.
#mastodon #spam #filtering #notifications #design
@leodurruti@puntarella.party Have a single-person instance so I’m sorry, I don’t know. I had assumed the filters would be instance-wide but you know what they say about assuming… ;)
@tinydoctor@mstdn.social Consider yourself lucky :)
@Tooden@aus.social Understatement of the century :)
But the key point is that it’s not just him. Almost half a million British people voted him greatest Briton of all time just two decades ago.
There’s a reason the west has been unabashedly arming a genocide in Palestine for the past year.
@M1k3yv2@ioc.exchange We’re playing 4D chess.
@M1k3yv2@ioc.exchange Shush, they might be listening… this could foil our ingenuous plan.

@M1k3yv2@ioc.exchange Goodness, those Meta folks must be really foolish, huh? Looks like they’re stepping straight into our trap.
:awesome:👍
@mray@social.tchncs.de Indeed, and as you should: as they’re partnered with Meta.
@AstaMcCarthy@mastodon.pirateparty.be Ah, you meant the Social Web Foundation itself, not my post; gotcha :)
@mray@social.tchncs.de Did anyone say they’re not on the fediverse?
@AstaMcCarthy Do you even know me? :)
(Hint: read the hashtags.)
@lebout2canap@mastodon.tedomum.net I’m on 46.4 – so they likely removed that.
Is Google implemented in 47?
Ah, this is because Mozilla Location Services is dead (I guess it wasn’t AI enough). And now GNOME are considering Google – because, why not? Nothing wrong with Google, amirite?
@DodoTheDev @Lokjo @librewolf @Vivaldi Yeah, although I just read that they’re using the manipulative “Maybe later” pattern in at least one of their dialogs so that would be a good thing to fix for the future (I’m using Vivaldi too as my default browser.)
The opposite of “Yes” is “No”, not “Maybe later.”
@Bro666 @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Which would make perfect sense if I had said “Plasma forces you to use Firefox.” Would you like any other straw men to rile against?
@Aaron @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Yes, to non-private defaults. Let’s put it this way: if Firefox’s defaults respected your privacy, Mozilla would go bankrupt tomorrow.
