2FA is something I’ve been missing honestly, but I can wait until v0.18.1 for more stability. Thanks for the change log and the developers of Lemmy for this awesome update.
I really like shell-color-scripts. It generates cool art in the terminal. It has flags to customize it, but I mostly use the -r flag (random) in my shell’s (fish and bash) startup config file so I have some cool art showing each time I open up a terminal or a shell session.
Glad to have found this community back. Lemmy feels like home now!
Thank you! Glad to be part of this community!
Let’s see what happens. I’m ready for chaos…
Even without VR system, it’s a really good indie game with very good support on Linux
Puss in boots: The Last Wish, Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse (soon watching the new one as well), ATLA (all seasons) and The Legend of Korra (also all seasons)
Yes, right now trying to make the doc. Will take a while though… but it will be worth it to upload it here. Can’t wait to be ready to delete Reddit out of my life.
Good suggestions. Linux can do wonders on very low end hardware. Make sure to pick a good distro that has a good package manager with all of the software that you need. I recommend to look into Arch based distros if you feel like tinkering a bit. Debian and Fedora based distros would also do the trick, but the AUR from arch linux will cover all the software you’ll need (use yay package manager for AUR support).
Good luck and happy tinkering!
Thanks for letting me know of this. It is even cross-platform… Works pretty much on everything. For the ones who are interested, here’s a link: https://redact.dev
I am actually done with Reddit at this moment. This blackout showed me what Reddit is without the communities and the people. It felt really empty and unusable and it won’t get any better. CEO of Reddit is a certified idiot. Right now trying to figure out how to delete my posts/comments and stuff (with a script) before deleting my Reddit account.
Same. I remember the days I’ve set up archlinux the first time on actual hardware without archinstall script (year 2020). It was a big milestone for me. But nowadays the official archinstall script makes things so easy. Even though I made an archlinux install script myself (not as fancy as the official one).
Isn’t it possible to sort comments on Twitter? I don’t use Twitter myself. Long story short: made an account back in 2017-2018, tried it out and i didn’t like it, so I deleted the account. Right now it seems I made a good choice lol.
I feel the same. Can’t believe those piracy communities survived this long on that platform…
I only expect it to become worse over time…
I don’t get it why people still pay for such a service. This decision was the last drop for me to stop using them. Sad to see what modern internet has become…
I used it the past weeks and now it’s gone :( RIP Soap2day
