I’ve honestly looked for dumb TV’s for a while. My TCL Roku TV has gotten so slow it’s almost unusable. If I could find a good one I would probably buy one. Instead I got a Raspberry Pi and put Kodi on it. Paired with a Flirc remote, it works great.

For anime, Ghost in the Shell. My favorite is the Stand Alone Complex series.

For TV show, Fringe. It’s a sci-fi show taking place in the modern world.

For movie, Red Lights. It’s about a group that disproves paranormal/super natural events. I recommend it because it’s not well known.

It’s a very simple movie and great because of it. Just action.

I’m subscribed! It’s one of my favorite series. Also, The Mark of the Fool is another good series.

It all depends on how fancy and compact you want it. Technically you could cut holes in cardboard, poke them through, then hot glue them in from the back.

I’d probably 3d print the ring with holes for the LEDs then hot glue the back side. Perf board is good to put a bunch of components close to each other to connect them. Since the LEDs need to be in a ring pattern, it seems like you’d end up cutting the perf board into small pieces just to attach it to a ring of some kind.
