After a couple years of solid pixel use I just ordered an S24 Ultra. I don’t care about alot of things but I’ve had enough terrible signal, WiFi, Bluetooth and battery life.

My wife bought an S23 Ultra and I had my Pixel 7 pro, we’re both out and about, she’s got full bars 5G, and I’ve barely got any signal. She can leave her phone anywhere in the house and her bluetooth works up to like 60’ away in the right conditions, meanwhile I’m getting half that at most, and there’s a 3 second delay over Bluetooth so watching video is fun. She gets like 2 days of charge out of her phone normally, and with minor use I’m below 40% at the end of the day.

Yup, and all they have to do is change leaders to win. There was that story last week about Biden thinking of stepping down, but Trudeau refuses to step down, if he, guilbaut, and freeland fucked off we could easily get another liberal government. So now we’re going to a Conservative government.

I work with middle eastern guys who are like this, they hide this side of themselves when I’m around (white guy) but it comes out when my female coworkers are alone. It’s common enough that I’ve heard about it from multiple people. But when I’m around they’re great and I consider them good work friends.

Post pandemic international shipping rates skyrocketed. Used to be able to order parts from RA and have them shipped to Canada for peanuts. Now the cost savings are eaten by crazy shipping fees, auto parts aren’t light

I made it last night, used half molasses half maple syrup. But the recipe I tried used lemon and I didn’t like the resulting flavour. Also the ginger we had wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked. I’ll try it again using a more traditional recipe.

Had a diabetic issue, a foot ulcer. The kind of thing that they chop your foot off for, so I was scared and booked an Appt… In the 3 weeks it took me to get in to see him I had scoured the internet for solutions and took treatment into my own hands and by the time I saw him it was well on the way to healing. He did prescribe some stronger stuff that accelerated the healing process, but had I waited to see him it would’ve been a different outcome.

I have a genetic condition that severely limits testosterone production. Didn’t find out until I was almost 40, my health hasn’t been terrible. Mental health is a different story.

I’ve spent the majority of my life “castrated” and it hasn’t been all that bad, that being said I still had urges even with pretty much zero testosterone so I question whether it will do anything to prevent abuse.

Nothing, there is nothing wrong with nano. There are what I will call vim purists who think using anything but vim is sacrilege. I’ve been using nano, and it’s predecessor Pico forever and while I can use vim if I need to, I don’t hate myself enough to do so.

Nvidia, wayland issues aside is still the superior card 9/10 times. This isn’t a gimmick to get people to buy Nvidia, most of us will buy it anyway. During my last purchase as I pondered over whether I should get an amd and move over to wayland or an Nvidia card that would allow me to locally generate images of whatever I wanted. It was a pretty easy decision, I’ll stick to X11 and Nvidia until the end. Stuff like this is just a bonus

The baby model was purchased to be used in 3DSMax, so they could have made it for Ally Mcbeal then sold the model
