I have 3 kids and it’s been my experience that the parents who are worried they might mess up tend to be the better parents, because they care enough to worry. It’s the ones who think they have it in the bag that tend to fuck up.
You’ll do fine

Counterpoint: Housing is an investment, when you can own the house you live in. You are investing in owning that property for yourself so that eventually you can have a place to live without having to pay a significant part of your income to do so (i.e. after you’ve paid off your mortgage). It’s not meant to be income, it’s more part of a retirement plan.
To be clear, I am talking about someone owning the place they live in, not owning rental property.
This is a bad move. The more Russian citizens have access to outside information, the better chance they can learn what’s actually happening in Ukraine and the amount of damage the government is doing to their own country. The more Russians that have exposure to that information, it becomes more likely that the people will show their dissatisfaction. Without VPN, the people only have access to the internal propaganda.

What’s that in football fields per commercial break (brought to you by Carl’s Jr™)?
but, like, also make sure you’re not spoiling a more popular Dem if they’re at any risk of losing to a GOP

WFH + satellite internet + solar panels = If you want to threaten violence, you’ll have to find me
GM also has tons of union employees which has some impact on the non-union portion (i.e. better benefits etc), so seeing first-hand what unions can do for you might make them more likely to support one even if their current working conditions are great.
“complaining” is a bad term. Being a teacher requires a bachelor’s degree and often extra schooling on top of that. It’s the equivalent of a professional with a degree and industry certifications. Where I live, a degree and certs is enough to get 70K straight out of school and easily over 100k after a few years of experience. There’s absolutely no reason that teaching shouldn’t pay any less than what someone with similar education would be able to get in industry.
If your company uses some sort of code checking tool on PRs, there may be a requirement that all functions have a docstring, even if it’s obvious what it’s doing. Leads to silly comments like this quite often
Best part is, there’s a hitch on the back, so buddy has used it with a trailer, just not this time when it would have been the ideal solution

Does that come on before or after “Ow! My Balls!”?
With the chain attached, I am imagining he is desperately trying to keep it from hiking itself up further
AI has uses when it’s not being rammed down peoples throats or used to plagiarize content (personal assistant/home automation type stuff is the first that comes to mind - I’d like to eventually set up a locally-hosted LLM based alternative to Alexa to control my house so I’m not relying on an internet connection for everything).
Cloud is an essential part of a robust backup strategy, and makes it easier for the average person to create a web presence.
Tesla, being an EV company, is still an important interim solution to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from ICE vehicles until (hopefully) better public transit infra is built so people don’t need to use cars as much. Not to mention it was the kick-starter for other vehicle companies to make EVs.
Ads and paywalls: People gotta eat. You want to consume content that someone produces as their job? Pay them. If you won’t someone else will, thus advertisements.
Exactly. I have “manual” HVAC controls in my vehicles right now, but I did have a car with an automatic one. I had that set for 21C 365 days a year, and it handled everything, including switching to defrost in cold weather. I did not touch the HVAC controls in the 3 or 4 years I owned that car. The manual controls need to get adjusted several times per trip.
Where I live any establishment that serves alcohol to be consumed on premises must also serve some sort of food option to go with it. So by that token, all bars are restaurants here.
