I can almost get to work on the bus in 30 minutes, but that bus in-turn only comes every 30 minutes. So I have to time it fairly well to get the bus as it comes. If I time it just right, it’s about 33-34 minutes to work.
Or, I can leave whenever I wish and cycle in 25 minutes; which is what I do whenever it isn’t raining.
If I ripped off the expense system at work by a couple of grand, I’d be fired.
There are some great piano basic courses on TouTube. You can get a very decent grounding on Piano for free. Get someone who plays to have a look at your hands after a bit in case your technique needs correcting.
This pathway requires a bit of self discipline, but then again - so does Uni.

After middling success putting a modern take on simple rock beats, they renamed the band to The Wiggles and specialized on childrens entertainment.
Through a combination of record companies wanting nothing to do with them, and a willingness to tour in the wake of the World Trade Center attack when nobody else would, the new band becomes wildly successful and gets to keep all their own money and not share it with a record company.
What a weird article. Translation: these things have had scientists baffled forever. While there are several theories, we don’t know why they have formed.
Which was exactly my experience at the Pinnacles visitor’s centre 5+ years ago when I finally ended up there.
The types of people we are talking about don’t actually read books, anyway. This is what has always baffled me about these movements. It isn’t like they’re affected by the contents of a book.

How is spending the day baking something in your own kitchen meant to help you meet anyone?
Or are you supposed to bake in someone else’s kitchen? I guess that’d be a neat way to meet someone.

We bought some rice bran oil this week. Only tried it with some crumbed chicken last night so far, but it went rather well.

If we’re talking baby photos though, I’ve got a dozen or so photos of the kids when they were babies/toddlers naked. Not with bits showing, and not shared to social media.

Around 12-13 years ago, I had to fly from Melbourne to Sydney to meet with a customer. One of my colleagues who lived in Sydney was also going to the meeting. We left home at the same time. I beat him to the customer!
I was driven to/from the respective airports, he was on trains. But still - it was a bit ridiculous that I got there first.
