I’ve never heard of this guy until today, but what a bad ass. We need more people like this in the world.

I would love to hear how they plan to resolve what feels like an inevitable unrest that will one day erupt.

I’m obviously not an expert on the subject, but the rhetoric has been so much more extreme. I hope nothing bad happens, but I have no idea how to get people to understand that an authoritarian government is bad. Do people even understand what that means? Or how living in an authoritarian state would affect their lives?

Yes and no. It depends on the games. Usually I wait for discounts now though. I don’t have time to play every game anyways so it saves me money to wait. Even during sales, I’ll stop and ask myself if I’ll play it soon. If I don’t think I will, I usually just wait

It’s disturbing to see the rize of authoritarian nazi like behavior in North America. The worst part is a lot of these people had their grandfather’s and fathers fight in the world wars to stop this kind of thing.

It’s messed up that these kinds of people can even get into political office when they should be as far away from political power as possible.

Damn I don’t understand how this brainwashing works, but the right wing has it on point. I’m genuinely worried that our world is about to change for the worse.

Regardless of whether you’re in America or not, Trump existing has created a whirlwind of authoritarian worshiping bullies. Canada doesn’t seem far off. I know Europe is having their own troubles with it too. It’s like these people either didn’t learn about the world wars or did and thought “hey that sounds great”

Such a shame it turned out the way it did, but the writing was on the wall. Every single reddit announcement thread was a shit show aha. I guess in a way they were transparent about only being in it for the money. Their actions were always consistent

I think you can definitely find duplicate ptoducts outside of amazon. In some rare cases, I’ve seen very specific products where the company specifically only sells on Amazon, but that’s of course, rare.

But what I meant is that all the options are these massive companies like Wal-Mart that definitely don’t have the general populations’ best interests in mind.

I wonder what the good alternatives for people would be (aside from shopping local. Sometimes, you just can’t, depending on what you’re trying to find.)

The reason I ask is because I feel like in our current systems, it’s impossible not to support shitty groups or people. The money funnels up to the top

Yeah, I don’t personally get it. We’re on a salary too, so if we’re getting our work done, that should be it.

They essentially have no idea how much work we can actually do, so they’re trying to force the efficiency out of us. But I think it causes people to drag their projects out because they just get more work the faster they go. They’re also tracking to see how long we spend on various pages/screens. So I don’t think anyone can fudge their productivity at this point even if they wanted to.

There’s no incentives to work harder as our raises dont really make up for inflation(even though we know they could! We all get to see the quarterly profits, and they’re bringing in millions more each year). so it’s this weird cycle of distrust and annoyance between the employees and our employer.

In my personal opinion, I think the logical solution would be to have a normal conversation with an employee who isn’t working as efficiently and see how the employer and employee can work together to improve things.

I know the guys at the top could retire tomorrow and never work another day in their life. I don’t understand why they don’t. Life is too short to waste away at an office

I’ve heard the borders of North Korea are pretty locked down nowadays. I hope some of these guys can escape and start living some kind of normal life one day.

I’ve started to feel this way as well in a couple areas of my life. I’m not sure, but I think it’s probably bad to feel this way? Lol.

Like my outlook for my future doesn’t look good, but I also feel like I’ve stressed so much about it I’m kinda like…yeah ok, so now what. Stressing just makes me feel bad haha. Just keep moving forward I guess. Maybe I can correct the course at some point.

The past week has been a mixed bag!

Not really amazing, but also not the worst I guess. My work is now tracking mouse and keyboard inputs for productivity.

In other news, Youtube messed with their backend, and it might have affected the impressions I was getting on my live streams? I’m not entirely sure but impressions dropped significantly this week. I think I’m getting too caught up on numbers rather than just having fun so I gotta probably say screw it and just have fun lol.

The one thing I’ve really learned about YouTube and creation over the years is how much work and effort people put into their creations. I think when it comes to media we often just look at the thing at face value and forget the time, effort, blood sweat and tears that go into making things.

It’s made me really appreciate stuff in general which I think is really good/cool. Especially artwork in general. I found traditional artists incredibly impressive before. But now my mind is blown whenever I see cool paintings, sculptures or whatever it might be.

It’ll be okay. I remember panicking years ago when they attacked other ROM sites. The games will go back up. Maybe in another location, but they always go back up. They cut off one head and another two grow back

Hmm, yeah, I get what you’re saying. I guess for me, I don’t feel like I have a ton of time to actually sit down and learn stuff, so any way I can make it more fun or give myself some kind of incentive to learn helps.

I know I want to get the end result, but it’s just a matter of tricking my stupid monkey brain into thinking it’s just fun games when I’m learning lol. It prevents me from getting bored long enough for me to dig in and get interested

Oh! So this actually might be caused by bad net code. I remember years back during horizon 4, or early on when 5 released, people would play online races with friends, and a good portion of the time, the ramming wasn’t actually intentional. Both people would record the race and one friend would see the other randomly stop or go flying and the other person would see their friends’ car send them off course.

The game just thinks the other cars are in different locations than they should be. On the other players’ screen, it’s possible they didn’t even see you next to them. It can appear that you were behind them the whole time.

It’s why I wish they would offer a ghost mode where you can’t ram, but can just race each other. If they can’t make car interaction accurate, then I don’t think they should bother with that feature (or at least make modes where it’s optional)
