Thank you! My head canon is that this “moon” is actually a sphere of mysterious iron-like metal that is capable of levitation. (magic? hell-temperature superconductor? who knows!) Though of course this is mostly an excuse for me wanting both a moon and hellish flames as backdrop.
I can imagine, it was definitely worth it though!
Looks cute and also like it was a lot of fun to make!
Charcoal on paper :)
It’s painted in Photoshop with custom brushes :)
It’s simple, yet breaks my brain in the weirdest of ways. I like it.
Wake up babe, new goat just dropped!
(Love it, keep it up!)
I like this goat. It is a very nice goat indeed! Thank you for sharing this goat.
Thank you for your kind words and taking time to leave such a thoughtful comment. Much appreciated!
Looking great, I love it! Also has that nice bored-at-a-meeting/bored-at-school feel to it.
Awesome, I love how neat the linework and shading are! Also the strong colors in the reflected light really push the whole drawing even further.
Me, and I haven’t posted it before today! 😅 Though I’m sure there’s similar work out there.
Love these! Again such a great mix of feeling organic while also looking completely artificial/mechanical.
I want to boop its eyestalks to see if it retracts like a snail’s.
It’s digital, painted in Photoshop using custom brushes based on charcoal on paper :)
Thank you! I was initially aiming for a fleshed out landscape but fell in love with the rough composition and colors. I’ve added the wanderers to give a sense of scale, but feel like they almost tell a story in their own right.
Nice work, I especially love the shadows!
Thank you! :) I feel like drawing with (large pieces of) charcoal is teaching me a lot about composition and contrasting elements so it’s nice to see this reflected in your kind words!
I had completely forgotten how great that video is, thank you for reminding me! (and the kind words, of course!)
