You have nude public beaches like in Europe? Where?

Hoping the same for the United States.
I think his biggest issue is that he can come off as too “California.” Some people see that as elitist.
If that is indeed his biggest issue, then I think he’d be a great president. Very small issue compared to what Trump is carrying around and none of his voters seem to care.
Sure, I’d go with Katie Porter.
Given the fact that a large part of the American population is dumber than a bag of rocks, probably not much. But there’s plenty of time to teach.
Then again, I don’t think it makes much of a difference. People made up their minds on Biden vs Trump a long time ago and they are in their trenches. The US is truly in a sad state, and it’s quite embarrassing when I talk to family members and friends overseas.
Withhold from team winnings.
Biden’s approval rating is about 37%, which is where George H. W. Bush’s was, and he didn’t get re-elected.
I wouldn’t say that I particularly “approve” of Biden, so I’m probably counted in the 63 percent. But I’m still going to vote for him.
Sure, I’d be more excited to vote for Michelle Obama or Josh Shapiro, but I’ll still vote for Joe Biden if he’s the nominee.
There’s plenty of time to build up someone else. Plenty.
I’d be a more excited to vote for Josh Shapiro or Michelle Obama or Gretchen Whitmer or Gavin Newsom or some other good candidate, but I’d vote for Joe Biden any day of the week.
Republicans have learned that there are millions of votes on one particular issue that will allow them to do whatever on all other issues. Abortion.
Republicans like this right now because it benefits Donald. It’s going to come back and bite them in the ass when it helps their opponents.
Yes, it’s the same family members who refused to do their part by getting vaccinated and were convinced that the rest of us would be dead by now from the “government poison vaccine.”
The issue with any two party system is that they’ll both fight tooth and nail to keep it that way.
American here. Can confirm.
I’ll vote for Biden for his admin’s policies. I have zero in common with Trump and Republican policies. But I’d be much more excited to vote for Gretchen Whitmer or Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama or Josh Shapiro.
Next year at SCOTUS: “Just kidding about the states’ rights we talked about.”
Maybe there’s a reason why Americabad is such a common take? Just something to think about…
Trump controls a cult, that’s why.
Cult leaders can get their followers to do anything and the followers will forgive the leader for anything, including felonies. They will dismiss any criticism of the leader as lies or made up to hurt the leader politically. No matter how true the criticism might be.
At the end of the day, it’s very much like the relationship between religious worshippers and their god.
As an American who is absolutely horrified and embarrassed about our own political climate and voter behavior, it’s very good to see a sane and dull transfer of power.
Sunak’s speech after stepping down:
Whilst he has been my political opponent, Keir Starmer, will shortly become our prime minister. In this job, his successes will be all our successes, and I wish him and his family well. Whatever our disagreements in this campaign, He is a decent, public spirited man who I respect.
He and his family deserve the very best of our understanding as they make the huge transition to their new lives behind this door. And as he grapples with this most demanding of jobs in an increasingly unstable world.
You’re splitting hairs. Fact of the matter is that Europe is doing a much better job at making higher education available to all.
Never lied. Also, you don’t seem like a very pleasant person. Lighten up.
