When word got back to Tucker Carlson a few weeks ago that Mr. Trump might be wavering on Mr. Vance, he intervened. Mr. Carlson, who was visiting Australia on a speaking tour, phoned Mr. Trump and delivered an apocalyptic warning, according to two people briefed on their conversation. He told Mr. Trump that Mr. Rubio could not be trusted—that he would work against him and would try to lead America into nuclear war. Mr. Carlson, who declined to comment for this article, told Mr. Trump that Mr. Burgum could not be trusted, either.
Mr. Carlson told Mr. Trump in that June phone call that he believed that if he chose a “neocon” as his V.P.—an abbreviation for Republicans who favor using U.S. power to implant democracy abroad—then the U.S. intelligence agencies would have every incentive to assassinate Mr. Trump in order to get their preferred president.
According to Vanity Fair, Tucker Carlson warned Trump that he had to pick JD Vance because if he chose a neocon VP, the Deep State would have incentive to assassinate him to get a neocon in the Presidency. Incredibly tortured logic from

Less than 4 months away, but in terms of funding vs not funding staffed outposts and hiring/firing staff, that’s not very much time at all.
I’d say a steam deck type device is more useful than a gaming laptop unless you are regularly playing games that are very dependent on keyboard and mouse.
Desktop PC is best because it can be upgraded piecemeal and I value low weight and great battery life in a laptop anyway.
It should be mentioned that there are some annoying extra hurdles to playing pirated games on steam deck, though. If you need a portable device and game prices are unrealistic in your region, I could see a gaming laptop being worth it.
Or get used to attaching a keyboard and mouse to the steam deck via a USB hub, because that makes the piracy process easier. Or have a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
Also worth noting: this plan they’re using for 2024 is a step up from 2020, because at least this time they have a thesis and a plan that leads from it.
I also think they jumped the gun on courting Hispanic and Black male 18-34 voters to the exclusion of their usual coalition of WASPs. They need both. Focusing on men as a demographic is supported by evidence, but narrowing it to that level is not. But they have corporate privatization/gutting to the essentials brain worms so they are convinced it will work.
Also, Musk’s cash (or notice that it was coming) would have been way more helpful 3-6 months ago when they were planning how much staff to liquidate. You can’t unring that bell with only 3 months remaining.
I read a profile of Trump’s campaign/managers in The Atlantic and it’s insane. Trump team took over the RNC, absolutely gutted their national ground game/voter turnout engine, replaced it with a half-assed volunteer ponzi scheme in just 4 states + Ohio, and spent the rest of the money, (over half of it!!) on “election integrity.”
They’re also relying on TPUSA and similar orgs for the high volume voter contact, which is a Very Stupid idea because Charlie Kirk utterly failed in the 2022 Nevada midterms when he was put in charge. And they replaced most door knocking with targeted ads for Black/hispanic men ages 18 to 34.
Tbh, they badly needed the cash from Musk, and it won’t even help unless they stop pissing 70% of it away on voter fraud prevention and trumo’s legal bills. Musks money is also going to “a new super-PAC” so how quickly that can ramp up operations is questionable.
The only silver lining for them is that Trump has listened to reason on the voting by mail issue and has stopped trashing it publicly. As well as Trump’s dominance in the polls, which may be overestimating liberal support.

You shouldn’t ever answer those things honestly because there is already no consistency with people getting the same result twice in a row.
Always answer as more outgoing and decisive because it’s just inaccurately targeted anti-introvert discrimination.
Source available for analysis is a big deal.
Were dems gonna win Ohio anyway? It’s barely competitive anymore.
Foss keyboard, and also the keyboard should never need network access.
Love that! Keep in mind that eating healthy food and exercise have their own benefits that may be contributing to feeling good as well!
You might have free printing at your local library. Mine gives $5 worth per quarter.
Avoiding Western Union fees for international transfers to family is one of the few good uses of cryptocurrency.
Its also not sudden, it’s three weeks after the supreme court gave the judge cover to do so.
Edit: after further investigation, it was based on a novel constitutional interpretation that makes zero sense, not based on the supreme court decision.
Can’t believe they unironically described it this way like that’s a normal thing and hasn’t caused some of the most horrific humanitarian disasters of the last 25 years.
