Whereas we need to flip many people, and many of those people are from low income, low education, low resource groups that are specifically targetted for deprivation and neglect by the capitalist state. If the libs talk shit about rural people that’s fine, they aren’t losing anything. The GOP can talk shit about people living in “warzone” cities and they’re fine. But we need both of those groups on our side, one way or another.

Cops are part of a system of violence. Individual cops can try to be helpful at times in certain situations. I hate to say it, but policing is like other systems of violence - individuals do have some agency sometimes.

I hope the person is okay. I hope you’re okay, too. Witnessing something like that can be traumatic. Tke it easy, pet your cat or talk to a friend if that’s an option.

I am once again asking for people to stop treating therapy as a panacea, or even a particularly good solution, for people’s interpersonal problems.

Also, when you put “i only date people who are in therapy” in your dating profile take a moment to consider the economic and intersectional significance of that statement; who can afford therapy, who is allowed to have access to therapy, who is treated with dignity and respect in therapy.
