Half of Detroit’s residents are renters who earn a median household income of $26,704, nearly $13,000 lower than Michigan’s median, according to American Community Survey data.
This country is a joke. We get shat on by the rest of the world for being rich and entitled, and we don’t even have affordable housing or healthcare.
$26,000? That’s barely enough to survive for a few months.
