As long as you update frequently (I do it whenever I think about it, usually once every few days to a week) you shouldn’t run into any issues

Im not a lawyer but making you pay money to get your own phone back doesn’t feel legal
Pikachu eating ryujinx (which just got taken down today)
Holy shit I just finished watching House for the first time like a month ago and I knew he looked familiar. So weird for me not to see him with any scruff or a cane

New desktop environment being made by the guys who make PopOS. It is currently in alpha version 2
Yeah I pretty quickly figured out I needed that, without it it straight up doesn’t scan my finger
Probably the fact that I can’t unlock the bootloader
My god, I upgraded from an S9 to an S22 and seeing the fingerprint scanner on the front baffled me. With a screen protector on I unlock it on the first try maybe 25% of the time
If you’re already paying for proton unlimited I don’t see any reason you shouldn’t go for it.
Also, forgive me if I’m wrong, but your post makes it sound like you don’t know, you can just export all your passwords as a file and import them into proton all at once
Fellow Linux noob, just started using it earlier this year so if someone with more experience wants to weigh in, please do.
That said, gaming on Linux is pretty good. Steam’s proton makes most games playable out of the box, although it’s still a good idea to check Proton DB to see if any particular game you want to play is playable.
As for your other question, I’m not totally sure what you mean by accessible and customizable, but I don’t think any of your peripherals are going to be distro locked. The Arch Wiki is a pretty good resource for, well, everything, but most relevant to you for your peripherals (it also usually gives good information for any distro, not just arch)

The app has a few holdovers from reddit. Another one (although I think this was fixed in the most recent update) is that using the report button sent you to the reddit report page. There’s probably more but these are the only ones I’ve noticed
Im gonna go with Nier: Automata
I’ve recently gotten into sim racing (assetto corsa and dirt rally) and got a whole setup with a wheel, pedals, and shifter. Unfortunately the setup makes it difficult to get at my mouse and keyboard to play “normal” games, but I’m in the process of figuring it out
Source code is only for HG/SS and B2W2, so we still can’t verify anything about the newer genes
