2 months ago@DoubleAA @innkeeper @the_gamer_tavern Darktide is very good-the core loop is there, and there’s some repetition with the maps offered, but the changes they’ve made along the way, plus the new item work up coming on the 26th…it’s time to get back in and kill some heretics!
@innkeeper@gamerstavern.online It’s so predictable-game publishers, movie studios, and other media outlets always take the ‘bankable’ path, guaranteeing their return. Yet they fail every single time as new ideas are left wayside.
I’m all for leveraging better means to enhance long loved games and stories, but not at the expense of innovative and new ideas.
