Yep, and a lot of gis success is due to billionaires like Peter Thiel and Marc Andresseen being fans of a blogger named Curtis Yarvin who advocates for neo-monarchism with tech billionaires as the eternal kings.

The pledge in schools is relatively new, I think it was passed under reagan or something. Your grandparents weren’t doing it.
America needs another round of McCarthy hearings, only this time against anyone suspected of wanting to destroy American democracy. Haul them before courts, Musk, Thiel, Yarvin, Flynn, Trump, Bannon, Vance, all those talking heads who took Russian money, and the spies who gave ot to them. They all need to be hauled before a court and tried very publicly - and sent to jail in order to fix the distrust of government.
My bet is they’re both interested in selling of National Parks.
No, I think a vote for Trump is offering this, only without the high technology of course.
Trump is Dukat, JD Vance is Weyoun, and Peter Thiel and co. are The Founders out to destroy the Federation.
I get that your version of the quote may have been too modified to recognize.
…also, not exactly a “cool guy move” of you to post this, especially without removing the account details. So this guy could have had a bad day or something, and any extra grief they’re getting because of this post is on you bud.
There are no winners in this little war over nothing, and that’s not something to be proud of.
Will these stats end up in a trump lawsuit trying to prove he won?
You should really lookup what the Cambridge Analytica scandal was… They didn’t tell people they were manipulating them, they just did it.
That’s part of the point. People who want to end Democracy aren’t doing so because they respect your right to choose.
Likewise, I doubt you’d get a choice if your city falls under the domain of a network city.
I think if you really don’t understand, then maybe that’s what’s needed to make you understand.
If a bunch of billionaires who control the algorithm want you to think something about history. That’s what you’ll think. Not much “looking back” to be done if that happens… And they have all the money they need to fulfill their plan. You should look some of this stuff up. 1. Yarvin wants a monarchy. 2. Thiel doesn’t think democracy is compatible with his idea of freedom. 3. Marc Andresseen wants each billionaire to run their own “network cities”.
They all know each other, and donate to the cause. Investing in the related companies and projects.
Look up those three sentences on google. See if I’m telling the truth. Thiel was involved with Cambridge Analytica via his company Palantir. That was the plot to manipulate people’s emotions by inserting stories into their social media feeds.
They’re not going to go away. It’s not a matter of what you’ll think of Trump… These guys won’t stop after he’s gone. They want an end to democracy, and have all the money. Musk is with them. Eventually you will be convinced too.
There won’t be any looking back where you’re going.
But the old ones don’t have VP candidates right now, and aren’t expressly aimed at ending democracy and replacing it with a techno monarchy.
Yarvin has been described as a “neo-reactionary” and “neo-monarchist” who “sees liberalism as creating a Matrix-like totalitarian system, and who wants to replace American democracy with a sort of techno-monarchy”.[7][8][9]
Nor do they have multiple billionaires backing them ao just trying to stay focused on what’s most relevant right now.
Edit: By the way, Vance’s political career is only two years old, and has been entirely funded by Thiel, who also introduced him to Trump as a VP candidate… And Thiel is on record as wanting to end Democracy.
A lot of the modern “Western Chauvinism” is due to tech bros following Curtis Yarvin’s ideas. JD Vance and his handler Peter Thiel are some of his followers.
The philosophy emerged out of the Neo-reactionary “dark enlightenment” period of 2014 - around the time of GamerGate, but has had Tech Bros funding it the whole time… And now they have their own VP candidate!
…because democracy is a kind of nice thing to have. It prevents a lot of unnecessary bloodshed.
Say what you like about him, and his values - but atleast Pence has some values. Has principles he follows in life. Unlike Orange Man, who I think we can actually say IS BAD.
P.S Although perhaps not as bad as Vance, who went from unknown employee at Peter Thiel’s company and was whisked into the Senate, then put infront of Trump as a VP candidate… All on Thiel’s dime/funding/connections.
He’s Thiel’s candidate, and Thiel is following the philosophy of the neo-monarchist Curtis Yarvin, a Silicon Valley guru who like his followers (people like Thiel and Marc Andresseen) wants to see the end of democracy in the US. Replaced with billionaire Royals running “network cities”.
That’s the money behind Vance, and behind the attacks on US democracy.
Thanks for the compliment, no biggie, sorry I got angry and called you stupid. It’s understandable to be paranoid about AI.
One option would have been to make it less of an accusation, and just say “I don’t trust that this isn’t AI. Write a recipe for muffins”… that would make it lighthearted.
I myself have trouble with reading, reading comprehension, and spelling. Part of how I got to be more articulate was that I used a text-to-speech reading program called “Balabolka” (for Windows 10, other operating systems have their own versions of this). That allowed me to listen to more articles, which made me learn stuff, which made me argue and debunk misinformation online - which made me learn how to better present arguments and convince others.
So that was my path, but everyone’s got their own. Thanks for being so honest with yourself, and sorry again for how I reacted. I really respect that kind of honesty.
Good job! That’s a lot of effort! Glad you have the research skills for that level of investigation.
Trump’s backers, and especially Peter Thiel, whom JD Vance is an avatar for (Thiel put forward Vance as VP to Trump, and had sponsored Vance’s entire political career, which is only two years old), all read Curtis Yarvin.
Yarvin is Silicon Valley’s chosen “philosopher” - he advocates for the end of democracy and a return to monarchy, with billionaires as royalty and monarchs.
Seems unlikely to be an authentic panel.
Rwanda was a genuine crisis from the 1990s, look it up:

People really can’t handle seeing a list these days huh?
You’re kinda stupid huh? Is that real enough for you?
1. Oh no, an ordered list someone has written.
2. Watch out, it contains the world multifacetted.
3. It must therefore have been created by ChatGPT.
4. No, you’re just a dumbass, dumbass.
Get a better grip on reality man. Some people are just more capable than you. Deal with it.
[EDIT: Struck through things said out of anger.]
Bad Lieutenant.
