Wouldn’t this breach multiple EU privacy laws?

Wow, yeah, turns out PWAs have been available on iOS for a while now and push notifications were added earlier this year. Not sure how I missed that. Thanks for the info.

Quick note to anyone looking for an app for Lemmy on Android, if you open lemmy.world (not sure about other instances) in Chrome, click the 3 dots and select “install app” and the website will be installed as a webapp on your device and it works very well.

Also if you’re on iOS I believe this functionality is coming in the next update around September.

Classic integer overflow, although I would’ve assumed Google would account for things like that.
