Why is the rainbow mentioned in quotation marks, as if it’s not a rainbow?

He’s sketching a cube right now
When I entered the workforce in the early 2000s, I struggled to get a job. To get unemployment payments I had to attend a weekly session at a local job agency to prove I was actively trying to work.
I remember the advice from there clearly - “Just think of a place you want to work, go there with your resume, ask them what positions they have and offer to work for free. Then they’ll hire you if they like you.”
Kalpa needs to attract more developers to keep up with Aeon’s pace. I understand it is usable as a daily driver, but it’s not just a one to one mirror of Aeon with Plasma on top.
https://sfalken.tech/posts/2024-06-08-how-do-aeon-and-kalpa-relate/
Richard Brown is all in on Aeon along with whatever contributors are helping him. Stephen Falken appears to have no one helping him work on Kalpa unfortunately. I disagree with Richard’s stance that Kalpa shouldn’t exist, but I do wish there were some capable people able to help that project.
I don’t mind using Gnome anyway, it actually does solve some networking issues that I’ve always had with Plasma. (Dolphin not handling it well whilst Gnome Files has no issues)
I was trying to think of times Jeff had been babyface. I could only think of when Hogan/Bischoff came into TNA.
I read it that they’re trying to say: A company you owe money to won’t be able to claim that debt from you, unless you issue them some sort of notice to allow that. And then that company somehow owes something back to you, plus interest.
But I also assumed they’re misusing the terms creditor and debtor.
I’ve been using Opensuse Aeon just over a year and it’s done great.
Tumbleweed user for the last 5 years, and dealt with a few issues over that time. The usually infrequent update break that comes with rolling release. And the Opensuse ‘Patterns’ started, which I loathe and it’s a disaster to try to disable them every install.
Aeon hasn’t had any of those issues. It’s been very much a “turn it on and get to work”.
I’ve generally had less issues with Aeon than Tumbleweed - like certain flatpaks not crashing.
But downsides as I see them:
I’m not a gnome guy. It’s fine though, I don’t hate it. But some people can’t stand it.
I had a bit of trouble running wine. Something about the default security policy. There’s a known workaround.
I took it as a question of which distro looks nicest out of the box (like, which distro manager has made real effort to make something particularly nice looking).
Phone: It’s iphone mini because fuck bigger phones
Card holder style wallet- only needs to hold a few cards so don’t need anything bulky: Bank card, drivers licence, Medicare card, construction induction card, myki card for public transport
Keys on carabiner: Car key, house key, mini screwdriver
Pint of cider
I haven’t seen it. I have heard about it, but was well before my time. It was early 90s that my dad showed me all the Bond films and let me read his books.
If it had been running repeats on tv I’m sure my dad would have had us all watching it though.
When I saw Casino, I was blown away. I still think that’s it for the franchise, they’ll never top that movie. I’ve seen most of the newer ones since Casino, and to me I’m right.
And to me, Casino works standalone. That ending is the perfect implication of what happens next.
My favourites before Casino were From Russia With Love, Live and Let Die, and The Spy Who Loved Me.
I did really like Roger Moore, I thought his light hearted adventure style Bond movies were a lot of fun (not always good 😐)
North American or Non-American colours?
I had a friend years ago who was freaked out by little people. One day we were outside the library and a little person walked past in a crowd, and she just started crying.
She didn’t have anything against them, and she always was worried she’d make them feel upset, it was just a weird response thing in her brain or something.
I really liked him in RoH. 2010-2013, Kevin Steen era RoH, was some of my favourite times in wrestling, and the 2012 Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino commentary team was the cream of the crop. For me, spot on the perfect wrestling commentary.
I never heard his NJPW commentary, but when he joined AEW I thought this is great - let’s get ready for some good stuff. And it was so bad.
I was just like “Who replaced Kevin Kelly with this impostor robot”
Yes, her bed is a just over a metre from the wall, so need a space saver.
The idea came from a Noah’s Ark playset I had when I was a kid. The Ark folded out to become like a similarly shallow zoo.
A few bits of velcro stuck with adhesive backing. She’s very careful, but yeah don’t want to risk it.
Also Rex Krueger is worth having on the list https://m.youtube.com/@RexKrueger
I’ve bought various keyboard parts as well as batteries for Vita and DS Lite. Ask of it arrived to me in Australia as expected and was fine quality/working condition.
Your family needs to replace that 2tb with 500gb and then you’ll be all set!
