I am a tech enthusiast/early adopter and Marvel nerd, currently studying Design.

Not quite sure what all I’ll be getting into here, but I’m excited to see where this all goes!

  • @Gamers_Mate Oh, 100% Everything around Kbin aside, Ernest had a ton of stuff going on in his personal life that should totally take precedent over this here.

I did see the post about applications for instance-wide moderators, which Kbin definitely needs. But I don’t believe any action has been taken past the announcement yet.

But that’s really interesting. I just checked and I got a notification for your last comment over on my Mbin account as well. I don’t know if maybe it has something to do with the fact that my Mbin account is subscribed to this magazine as well and got looped in as well or what? I may have to look into it and see if either it’s just a bug or if I’m doing something wrong lol.

  • While I do enjoy reading a physical book with real pages I can turn. I do prefer the convenience eBooks provide. I use both Kindle and Google Play Books, and its great cause I can just read on my phone whenever I have some time to spare, instead of always having to plan ahead and bring a book with me. And it’s also had the added benefit of easier discovery of new reads and authors that I might not have come across otherwise. And I do have a Surface Duo, so I also enjoy how it does emulate that book-like feel when I open it up to read something.

  • There are a few different things I try to do each day to find little moments of happiness here and there. Anything, no matter how small, can have a bigger impact on our mental health than we may initially think. When I have the time, I like to sit down and do a little bit of coding, or do some design work for a new project I want to start (even though there’s a high chance I’ll move on from it soon 😅). Also getting into a good book is always nice, spending time hiking or just going to a park somewhere, or even a little DIY craft project can be a lot of fun. But when I’m a little busier even little things like music, or journaling, or even a drink I really enjoy can all go a long way in boosting my mood.
