I know u/spez is seeing us delete our accounts. There has to be some kind of metrics that’s showing that. He is ignoring redditors that made reddit so famous.
Waiting to delete mine. Just need to finish getting local copies of all my content first. Once I have that and I can successfully delete everything from Reddit, then it’s gone!
Consider using Power Delete Suite - it’ll edit (or delete) all of your content on Reddit, and also make a downloadable local copy for you of all of the originals. Very easy to use, no download or login required.
That’s what I went with originally. However, even after using the versions that include the delay, the CSV file that I download from Chrome seems to be oddly truncated - it stops in the middle of the text of my comment (not even filling out the rest of the fields to make that line a valid CSV line.
Has anyone else seen this? Could it just be an issue with the chrome browser not being able to dump the full data contents? (I have no images or videos or anything it’s all just text).
