minus-squarebarsoaplinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoIt’s not completely pointless, e.g. the Taycan has a two-speed transmission: One to have ludicrous torque to start rolling, the other to be more efficient at higher RPMs. Most EVs aren’t Porsches, though, and Taycans aren’t stick-shift.
