Damn, you’re late to the party, Gojira isn’t exactly a new band ;). Anyway, better late than never, and you lucky guy have their whole discography to enjoy! I myself have been a fan since I first saw them 20 years ago, and have never been disappointed by an album or gig, they’re always great!
To be honest, I really got disconnected from music and shows in general after I had kids and got a little more serious about my career. Fun stuff for me and my wife quickly translated to fun stuff for the whole family. (Nothing wrong with that; It happens.)
Now that my youngest daughter is playing guitar, she kinda woke up my desire to go out and see shows again. She is picking all the shows and I get to attend (and pay for) them. Its nice to have a redeveloping need to actually get out of the house.
That’s pretty awesome to enjoy shows with your kids! Mine are too young but I hope to take them one day.
