This has been an issue for a long time. I’ve been trying to avoid Chromium based browsers, but Firefox seems to be unable to print a lot of web pages without cutting off the content between pages. This is Firefox specific, as it doesn’t happen with Chromium browsers. It’s really a pain in the ass when I need to print something I have to open another browser and print it from there. I see tons of complaints about this online going back for years. I just spent the past two hours trying (unsuccessfully) to print a recipe correctly. I eventually gave up, opened Edge and printed from there. The current state of web browsers is dogshit. It’s either give up all of your privacy or use broken stuff. Neither is good.

Hey friend — apologies, I did not mean to make fun of you or diminish the productive content of your comment. I just recognized the opportunity for a lighthearted joke, smiled when the thought crossed my mind, and wanted to share that fleeting moment with other people (which I hope the upvotes in my comment indicate I succeeded).

I realize I could be propagating stereotypes and engaging in lazy shitposting, but I honestly never though Arch users were actually bothered by this quip (honestly, I kind of admire you folks and always assumed your reaction to the joke was similar to that of the old Unix guy in that Dilbert comic: “here’s a nickel, kid”).

But thanks for bringing this perspective to my attention. I’ll try to be more considerate in the future if I notice that such jokes could have a negative connotation. Cheers!
