I’ve been looking at getting my first vaporizer. Considering POTV Xmax v3 pro and the PTOV one. Also open to suggestions, i just want to keep my budget under $150.
I mean I remember when the Pax2 hit the market. There were probably a dozen or so decent portable devices on the market. The Arizer Solo1 was probably the best tasting portable at the time for the money.
The Pax gets a lot of hate from users who start with a pax and move on to higher powered devices, but it’s a solid pocket-friendly device (especially if you throw a set of Pax Caps on for odor protection lol)
I had such a hard time trying to pick one out online. When legal (medical) hit my state no one was using vapes; so I didn’t have anything to go off of. The only thing I knew was that PAX was around for some time and had a good market share. I agree it would get hate from people who need higher powered devices. I’ve always had a lower tolerance (compared to friends) as I only chill on the weekend once or twice. Also PAX is a single user device; sucks for if you want to share. Thanks for the PAX CAPS link! That’s an awesome find!
Yeah, I feel ya - I was one of the first in my group to also discover dry herbal vaporizers. I was considered a “snob” because I wouldn’t combust with them after converting lol.
Fortunately I have a decade’s experience playing with devices thanks to my position in the industry, so I try to drop knowledge for novice users in groups like this hahaha
I got my first vape and the only one I’d used was the OG Pax, so that’s what I got. In Aus at the time I think it was pretty much Pax or MFLB. I didn’t hate it til I got better devices, then realised why i hadn’t made vaping stick!
Ah the MFLB - such a cult classic. It was a PITA to use for the novice user. But it’s still a beloved device by those who have perfected the art of using one - it was way ahead of it’s time
