I’m tired of hearing about popular games. Are there any games you played and were surprised by how little attention it got? A game you really enjoyed, but was only reviewed by five people?

The one I found the other day which inspired this post is Your Spider. This is possibly my all time favorite indie horror game, and the fact that it only has two or three reviews bothers me far more than it should.

It’s not my favorite, but I enjoyed lords of xulima so much and probably 90 percent didn’t even hear about it

I really enjoyed Supraland. It’s a 3D metroidvania puzzle game with some really fun mechanics and very good puzzle design. The level design is also fun, you play a toy-person in a sandbox.

There’s songs of conquest, which I’m not sure if is out of beta, but is a solid spiritual successor to the heroes of might and magic series and at the very least a much need visual and engine upgrade.

Ring Runner. Amazing game goes on sale for like $1.25. Great music, gameplay, and generally fun story.
