I have been using Dungeondraft and Dungeon Alchemist. Dungeondraft I like more for detailed and customized maps. I like how fast Dungeon Alchemist is, but the lack of certain drawing tools makes it a bit frustrating
I’ve been using Wonderdraft. Works on macOS and Windows, it’s a LITTLE clunky but has let me rip out some awesome maps.
My biggest issue is just the lack of assets. Even still, I’ve made 2 world maps with 100+ cities on them and I personally think it looks great
Depending on the the type of map I’ll use Adobe Fresco or Illustrator on an iPad. Although I’ll sometimes grab a high resolution scan of a real atlas and draw on it with Procreate.
Are AI generated maps and workflows welcome here? I don’t want to step on any toes.
As long as it’s appropriate for a ttrpg or fictional setting, I think it’s great! We can’t ask be skilled artists with a pen, brush, or nose, but some of us know how to use our words and boolean skills to get our perfectly desired maps
