Distro doesn’t matter (as has been stated since the dawn of time it seems). A better question would be something like “Which do you prefer: RADV or AMDVLK?” or “What DE/WM do you prefer gaming on?”.
The DE/WM is probably a good one simply because I like gaming in a window (not fullscreen) but still want get a fullscreen appearance without titlebars/borders. i3wm is great for that.
