    Yeah, while I tend to agree, “nazi bar” is the can of worms that always comes with this kind of thing. We had real examples of that in the segregationist South. That’s not a part of history that needs repeating, so a good argument for some limited government restrictions on how open a business needs to be.

    I support the business’s right to refuse service to cops while on duty and armed though. That’s a different story than racism since a cop can come back after their shift (or even probably just leave their gun in the car). It’s not refusing based on what they are, but rather on something they’re doing at that moment.

    That said, while I support the business’s right to do this, I also think they’re making a dumb decision. The good thing about America is you’re free to be a dummy if you want.
