I’m trying to figure out how to pull posts that I have saved into my RSS reader. I grabbed the RSS link from the saved posts page of my profile and added it to my RSS reader but nothing comes across except for my actual posts. I can’t seem to figure it out and feel I’m missing something completely obvious as it can’t be this complicated. Appreciate any insight as I feel like I’m going crazy!

You bring up a good point. Looking at the URL, it doesn’t reveal anything about saved posts. Bummer. Would be cool if lemmy implemented like Reddit does. I wouldn’t mind providing credentials as TTRSS has that ability. I’ll have to just keep an eye out for future development.

Would be cool if lemmy implemented like Reddit does.

You can open an issue on the repository and, if you have the skills, you can even implement it yourself :).

      TTRSS

May I ask you if you know about any public (and free?) TTRSS instance?
      Thanks!

Awesome I’ll check that out and submit something!

Unfortunately, I do not. I host my own via Docker. I initially started with the official TTRSS docker that had like a dozen containers but moved to http://ttrss.henry.wang/#about which has been super easy to manage and only has a couple containers.

I see this as a bug. It’s reasonable to expect RSS feeds per grouping of posts showing under an account profile (posts, comments, saved, etc). Posts and comments are covered, but not Saved.

So either the feed icon should be removed to avoid confusion or, better, RSS for Saved should be added (on par with Reddit in that way).

Did you ever file it as an issue? I can’t seem to find a reference to it on the GitHub page.

I am a user, not someone running an instance of Lemmy so I don’t feel I can file and support it at the level that would be expected.
