To most of us it looks like Twitter and Reddit are in a race to the grave. Though it will be interesting to see what really happens. I mean you’d expect the whole of the user base to get fed up and move on, but maybe people are willing to put up with it. Obviously we’re not because we’re here. However we’re just a small fraction of the user base. Reddit and Twitter combined have over 2B monthly active users, the Fediverse has a million or two monthly active users, that’s a tenth of a percent. So basically one in a thousand people are not willing to put up with the bullshit. Pretty sad actually.
