That’s the base-level scenario the fantasy is built upon, but each instance of fantasizing about it builds upon that base in different ways.

The starting point has to be the “how” of the scenario. What caused the whole world to be futanari? Did it suddenly happen one day, or has it always been this way?

If it just happened one day, how did it happen? Was it like a wave slowly travelling across the Earth such that when you get transformed depends on your latitude? Or maybe everyone gets transformed only while asleep? Or it could be a single moment where everyone transforms at the same time?

What is the world’s reaction to it? Or is there a sort of reality distortion/mind control aspect to it where everyone treats it as perfectly normal and goes about their days just as before?

Or, if it’s always been this way, how does that affect history and culture? Is it just humans, or has all life on Earth been hermaphroditic since life began? Or perhaps all of history remains the same somehow, just with everyone being futanari (handwaving how irl history depends on gender)?

Expanding on the basic concept of it, another aspect is the question of what a futanari specifically is? I always consider futanari as being true hermaphrodites with otherwise female bodies, but there’s always the debate with drawn futanari of balls vs no balls. I also know that some artists and writers do their futanari worldbuilding where men and women are normal, but all futanari are 10/10 bombshells or otherwise physically superior. Would that carry over into this world, minus the men and women part? Dipping into a twinning/selfcest type fetish, maybe everyone looks the exact same, with the same body and face, but they remain different people with their own personalities.

Or it could go in the other direction, where everyone is now an as-close-as-possible futanari version of themselves. What would I look like? What would the people I know or public figures look like?

And of course there are the social and cultural impacts of such a drastic difference. How does the concept of gender being completely dissolved affect things? Does everyone having the same type of body lower social barriers? It could even expand to everyone being nudist now.

There’s also the aspect where everyone can now become pregnant, and couples can get each other pregnant instead of pregnancy generally being a one-sided thing.

Or with the reality distortion/mind control thing I mentioned earlier, what if this is accompanied with something like sex and masturbation being as common and public as waving hello to one another?

And as with any futanari fantasy, the dynamics of sex itself is a large part of it. The give-and-take of sex being equalized is very hot to me. There’s the aspect of being able to experience both sexes’ pleasures, and being able to be pleasured in more ways at once. I definitely enjoy fantasizing about mutual penetration. And other fetishes can be layered on top, like the change to being futanari also made everyone much more sensitive, with physical sexual sensations becoming much more pleasurable.

I know it’s a weird fantasy, especially considering how much of it isn’t specifically and explicitly sexual, but I enjoy it.
