Let me break out the world’s tiniest violin after paying $12 for the world’s most disappointing cheeseburger (and having to ask for ketchup and napkins).
I reduced my fast food consumption by like 95% right around the beginning of the pandemic and I regret nothing. Not wasting 20 minutes of my life in a drive through line for a meal that isn’t good, cheap, or healthy. It takes 3 minutes to boil ramen at home and that checks two of those boxes.

Cheeseburger french fries medium cokeI bought a cheap United Airlines ticket 6 months ago for bay area maker fair and they sold my ticket out from under me 3 times. Started as a direct flight by the time I left it was 3 leg flight with 2 long layovers both ways. By the time I made it back to O’hare I was really tired and hungry just wanted something to snack on while I waited 5 hours for the last connecting flight. I got a medium coffee instead for $3.79 and it was watered down.
entire beef industry collapse
