I guess if you count Lemmy, then 1.
Lemmy, Facebook for marketplace and that’s it, I guess.
That’s good. I still think people who are using lemmy only need a feature like mastodon to switch instances, so the account don’t go down with instances or if not then we need more and more enthusiasm in people, who are capable, to contribute momentarily to run a server like their online family and flourish the space.
A lot because after the Reddit Exodus, and then seeing how censored Lemmy is I’ve kind of been all over the place. I just bounced back and forth between exploding heads, squabbles, Reddit, said it.net, scored communities and a bunch of other ones oh and Nostr
Lemmy, Twitter (if lurking counts,) and Discord.
Lemmy and youtube, but I’ve been tapering off my youtube habit.
YouTube is file as long as you’re learning and implementing. For entertainment, it should be limited.
Honestly, actually using, mainly YouTube and Reddit, well, and now Lemmy of course.
Reddit should be dropped soon enough though, as the last remaining communities I care about continue to move out and hopefully to here.
Just fediverse sites as “Media”, Matrix or SMS for “Social”. Facebook for marketplace only.
Tumblr and that’s it really. Only joined Lemmy today
Lemmy needs some major issues addressed. I believe it’ll be the best place in the internet for discussions. Tumblr honestly overwhelms whenever I go and lurk.
I mean, tumblr allows you to see what you want. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Just 2 lemmy and grapheneos’ discussion forum
Lemmy and FB, and I reluctantly use FB
I just use Lemmy now. Used to be very active on reddit and now I’m very active here. I really like that no big tech corp are running the server here. Something feels very wrong about big tech forcing itself into the middle of people’s conversations, specially when we have seen how immature, greedy, insensitive and stupid those people are.
How about yourself?
While it is really good that big corporations aren’t running servers here, I still believe there could be some open source or non profit organisation contributing to the lemmy instances so that we have some really good, stable and secure servers that are not likely to go down ever.
And hell yes, it feels good now that we’ve seen us transitioning from the corporates exploiting us from our investments on their services as our opinions and thoughts. Capitalists need to stay away from social media. It seriously is where it really asks for freedom of expression.
