It’s long overdue for the league to fix a massive flaw in the replay rules.

As a Minnesota sports fan who’s seen more BS calls than necessary screw our teams, and especially after the Lynx got so blatantly screwed by officials last weekend in favor of yet another big-market team, it’s hard not to believe at least some officiating inconsistency is league-ordered in many leagues to benefit markets they want to grow or don’t want to piss off.

Eh. Rams were +3 on the spread. Even if the Vikings somehow tie the game, it doesn’t mean that the best loses.

I know they should have gotten this call in the field, but it doesn’t mean the Vikings would have tied the game.

They should just make all plays reviewable. The point of limiting reviews was to limit the time wasted in instant replay and the system we have now does that marvelously as well as making it an interesting element of the game. I realize they want to keep from calling officials calls into question but they show the replay of the call on the field 100 times anyway - we can all see if it’s right or wrong and if it’s an important enough call to challenge, the officials should have the opportunity to get it right.

The officials just tanking the absolutely shit out of PI replay should have got every single one of them fired for it.

But that’s what would happen. They’d just refuse to make the obvious correct call every single time.
