Sorry if this has been answered many times elsewhere (or is in a FAQ or guide somewhere)…I’ve searched but haven’t had any luck finding it.

Is it possible for me to create a new community? Or do I need to request it from an admin or something?

    It’s a setting where lemmy.ml has it disabled. You could ask the admin to create it for you or sign up on an instance that has user community creation enabled.

    There are already plenty of communities here. New communities can be created on other instances.
