Another post that makes me further double down on voting 3rd party. It is because of this mentality that not enough people vote 3rd party to make a difference. Also, I refuse to reward genocide.

I would also like to add Trump being worse isn’t a good argument because this administration has let israel do all it wants and given them every weapon and funding.

If you think it can’t get worse, Trump is happy to correct your failure of imagination.

God, accelerarionists are the worse. It’s like you’re a troll who actually believes what you’re saying.

How can you say, “I wish you die.” And expect the person you’re talking to to take you seriously. Who exactly are you trying to persuade here?

I genuinely care about these people. I’m playing with game theory here tho. I vote for trump, the bombing will continue. I vote Dem, the bombing may slow down. I vote third party, isn’t necessarily a vote for trump, but it makes him winning more likely.

I also have to care about more than just the people overseas. A vote for trump affects more than just our foreign policy. My many female friends and their human rights. My coworkers and their workers rights. I don’t know what Trump’s plans for welfare are, but I’m sure there shit.

If you’re assuming that I’m not thinking about all the facets of life that this election touches, then you’re seriously out of touch. I want the world to be a better place, I genuinely do. I think most of the people here do. But I’m not a single issue voter. There’s a lot that this election means to a lot of people. I don’t have the answers, I’m just a cog. I’ll do the best I can, any more than that and you’re barking up the wrong tree

You realize the circularity of your own reasoning, right? It’s a prisoners dilemma, it only works if you trust the other to do it to. But you choose to eat the cake like a selfish person.

… it’s just how FPTP works, mathematically. It will always devolve into a two party system, even if by some miracle a third party overtakes the republicans or democrats, we would still end up with two parties. FPTP is fundamentally broken like that.

But voting for people that have no chance of winning just contributes to the worse evil

I just want to point out that not only would this miracle help out our population (the US citizens) it would be a tremendous blessing on the whole world. I’m not even exaggerating; I honestly believe that.

All it requires is enough people writing the same name on a piece of paper. Incredible isn’t it, how selfish we are as a whole.
