From Coke to Clorox, we contacted all 51 companies on the #Consumer Brands Association board of directors to ask if they agreed with the group’s proposed redefinition of “recyclable” #plastic. Most didn’t respond. None disagreed.

The petrochemical industry wants you to think “Toss, Burn or Bury” is the same thing as “recycle.” It’s fraudulent, and helps encourage burning the planet for a fistful of dollars.
@ProPublica@newsie.social If you want recyclable it is glass and metal. Plastics are a lie we have been sold for most of my life.
