@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games Man the way they gush about this game compared to actually playing it is wild. I struggle to enjoy any 3D fighters from before Tekken 3. That was the first one I got into.

I imported the game at the time and I have to say, I absolutely loved it.
And that’s purely on a gameplay level.
I bought a ton of fighting games back then, some better than others.
Star Gladiator and Toshinden being on the lower end.Started Tekken with the first one in the arcade, but by the 3rd one I had moved on since I had way too choice.
I vastly preferred Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers and Fighters Megamix for my 3D fighters.
@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games It seems like maybe you have got a real soft spot for saturn/model 2 but I can relate. Those games have a really distinct feel to them! I was so excited about the dreamcast because that was sort of the peak and death of the arcade at the same time.
@Jeltron@pocketpixels.club
Not as much a soft spot for the Saturn as more like the Saturn’s library lining up perfectly with my gaming tastes.@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games oh wow, that headline 🤦♂️
