Some scissors will work fine left-handed, but the real catch is you can’t see the cut, it’s obscured behind the blade when holding scissors left handed. You see the trailing edge instead of the leading edge, and so it’s easy to cut a half a mm off or so unless you are aware enough to plan for it.
