Ditch all borders, they only promote wars and alienation.

    Yes, I’m a dreamer.

    Really optimistic, but awesome!

TIL Salish Seas, Cascadia, and Bioregionalism.

Great mentions about dams, the results caused by them, and the removal of them.

We need to stay hopeful and keep fighting to build a better future!

The Salish Sea is a marginal sea of the Pacific Ocean located in the Canadian province of British Columbia and the U.S.

The Cascadia bioregion is the Pacific Northwest as defined through the watersheds of the Columbia, Fraser and Snake Rivers, as defined through the geology of the region.

Bioregionalism is a philosophy that suggests that political, cultural, and economic systems are more sustainable and just if they are organized around naturally defined areas called bioregions, similar to ecoregions.

How would we decide the boundaries? In this video, we explore who drew the first lines on a map and said “Everything within them is ours”. And why rearranging the world’s borders according to nature could help us solve many of the problems we’re facing today.

This is Origin Story, an optimistic show about the future on humans on Earth. We explore what ideas, inventions, or even traditions could help us build a better future for all.
