I was thinking of marking an account and start using Matrix, but I wanted to see if there were any plans for a pawb social server in the future. I don’t mind waiting a bit if it is in the pipeline but if it’s a definitive no, then I know to research the other servers/admins. Thanks for providing this amazing space! I just want to see it grow!

    I’ve been thinking about this for a while, especially seeing several of the admin and maintainer communities for Mastodon / Lemmy taking place on Matrix. But, at this time I don’t think we’re in a position to be able to spin one up due to existing work we need to finish before taking on new responsibilities.

    So, not an outright no, but in the future, yes. If this is something folks do want us to provide, please do add your feedback here and updoot. :3

      It’s reasons like wanting to complete existing work and not overextending that I am happy to wait to create an account. I’ve been super happy with how y’all are running things! If there’s anything I can do to help, I’d love to pitch in some!

      I’d try out a Matrix server, but I’ve never found much value in public Discord servers so personally not sure if I’d use it for long
