There is probably a reason that the stuff is cast off…. Nobody wants it. The few times I’ve been in a BigLots it’s been a fairly disappointing experience.
One opened in my town when I was a kid. My mom wanted to check it out n I remember as a literal child thinking that everything in there was crap. The store was super disheveled with stuff all over the place despite having only opened 1 month prior. That store finally shuddered about 5 years ago, but I never went back after that day. Not surprised at all.
How does a giant dollar store that sells cast offs from other stores go out of business?

It’s cheap, but it’s terrible crap and therefore too expensive.
Just reminded me of Wal Mart / Dollar store when I went. Lots of candy and junk food.
