Yeah, I don’t anticipate it to balloon. The biggest issue with lemmy is mainly images right now, so object storage will unfortunately rapidly expand. That’s likely to be the biggest cost.
I know lots of instances are encouraging users to use imgur links, are you able to disable image uploads?
I can, but images unfortunately get autocached to the image database regardless.
