So, they’re saying they’re going to pay people to post and mod, but in a cryptocurrency whose value isn’t listed here? I’ll bet someone’s already coding a whole bot forum to get all the community points.
Community points isn’t supposed to be valuable. This is about making people start a vault/wallet and engage in crypto in a way that is fun and non threatening. They already tried it with the avatars but I doubt it got a whole lot of traction. At some point the real crypto currency will appear and suddenly reddit will have a platform with a couple of millions users that already has a wallet set up and ready. That will make reddit one of the biggest crypto platforms on the internet.
This is also what the API thing was about. Third party apps didnt/couldn’t include the vault on their apps so a lot of user didn’t even know the vault existed until now.

They didn’t list the value because actually saying the value is a flat Zero is really embarrassing.
