China’s space officials said Thursday they welcomed scientists from across the world to apply to study the lunar rock samples the Chang’e 6 probe brought back to Earth in a historic mission, but noted there were limits to that cooperation, specifically with the U.S.
Lunar rocks from the other side of the moon, smart-ass - Uncle Sam has yet to reach over there. India’s lunar rover was not that close, but it was still valuable information. China’s landing was much more closer.
Still, as good as American scientists may be, i can trust scientists from a reputable proxy. I believe that the us has reasons to be cagey with China, and this really was just a pointless dig and a showing of frustration that may or may not be related to dark side moon rock composition.
