A present makes more sense after 50 years or something.
Don’t have a single coworker that has been with the company more than 8, but that’s besides the point. A dollar store trophy with “Energizing Encourager”, implying I don’t work hard enough as is, is insulting.
I just had my 4th year and get what you mean, sometimes nothing is better than something or at least less insulting.
