    I’d like to know the nature of these injuries. When flying one is always asked to wear one’s seat belt when seated? Somehow flying doesn’t have the charm it once held for me.

      To be fair, you can get injured by being pulled up violently while wearing your seatbelt, or you and your seatmate knocking heads while strapped down, so there’s still a slight chance. That or it was unpredictable turbulence maybe? So a lot of people were moving around the cabin.

        Is this something that is common but MSM needs something new to stoke fear about and they are actually reporting these issues?

      Yeah but people rarely do. I often see people get up to go to the lavatory even when the seatbelt light is on and they ask people to stay in their seat.

      Which is unavoidable sometimes. When you gotta go, you gotta go. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone try it during a critical phase of flight, though.
