    favorite ‘anti-imperialist’ regime is murderous and oppressive

    I didn’t even realize that was debatable, especially after the protest murders and executions.

      Don’t worry, you can still find plenty of tankies simping or "whatabout"ing for the Islamic Republic. They just file it away like Tiananmen Square - something to be excused or downplayed or deflected from.
