        Thank you for pointing this out. @Rolando@lemmy.world Please use the crosspost function (or at least tag the original creator of the meme) in the future.
        On Lemmy, crossposts can be added afterwards and the crosspost info now links to the original post. And the posts are popular and fit, so I won’t take them down. But it’s still good to note this and use the crosspost feature in the future.

          Hey there. I did use the crosspost function, I certainly didn’t mean to steal a meme. On my client (web) when I cross posted it, it automatically said where it was from… did it not say that on your client?

            Oh I’m really sorry for the inconvenience then. I know it now is marked as a crosspost, I actually do not remember how it looked when I initially saw it. But because of the comment I assumed it wasn’t marked as one, so maybe it’s a bug(?), or maybe it has been overlooked.
            Anyways, thank you for posting the nice and fitting memes here (esp. if you used the function) :)

      I used the cross-post function and on my client it automatically added where it was from, but looks like something went wrong, thanks for pointing it out, I’ll try to figure it out.
