      I saw this post first and immediately thought it was a new type of poop chart, then to scroll down 3 more post to find the poop chart… i really really thought the simulation was fucking with me, untill i noticed its the same dude who posted both at the same time. So clearly that was his intent.

      I know, right? If one can’t tell whether people are using Cunningham’s Law to drive engagement or are actually ignorant, it makes one not as eager to correct honest mistakes.

        Yeah, that was honestly my first thought, but I engaged regardless. I try to comment on a few threads every day, assuming I can think of something to say, just to help build the community here on Lemmy.

    What’s the difference between a lagoon and a big lake? The Cape is the small area of land jutting out into the water? How do you differentiate that from a small peninsula?

      Does it have a creature in it? Lagoon. Does it have a monster? Lake.

      Peninsula vs Cape is a little more difficult and subjective. Depends on how afraid you are.

    Why do the Chesapeake and Delaware bays look like gulfs according to this?
