Using surveys, cognitive tests and brain imaging, researchers have identified a type of depression that affects about a quarter of patients. The goal is to diagnose and treat the condition more precisely.
This subtype sounds like it has more overlap with ADHD symptoms than most other kinds of depression do.
That’s interesting because my wife was suffering from some severe depression. Like not getting out of bed depression. Her psychiatrist tried like every depression meds, even some brand new ones that we had to get some a specialist and nothing seemed to help it. Then he prescribed her Vyvanse and it has been a game changer for her. Completely got her out of that funk.
